Dubbed as the makers of exquisite writing instruments, watches and accessories, Montblanc is famous for it's easily recognisable "White Star" logo. Founded by stationer Claus-Johannes Voss, banker Alfred Nehemias and engineer August Eberstein in 1906, the company began by producing up-market pens in the Schanzen district of Hamburg under the name Simplo Filler Pen.
In more recent times, Montblanc has gone to produce limited edition pens in addition to it's normal production line. The brand has also diversified to produce other luxury goods such as watches, jewelleries and leather goods.
